Alongside ladies football, players from camogie, rugby union and soccer have been touted as potential rookies coming into the league.
The news was announced yesterday via the CrossCoders facebook page.
Mike Currane, who is an Official Ambassador for Crosscoders will take the Irish group out to Melbourne on Thursday evening. Speaking on the announcement he said.
"It is extremely exciting for the players, with some potential life-changing opportunities ahead, and a once in a lifetime experience in terms of the camp itself," "I am thrilled that this many Irish girls have been selected and it is a sign of the level of talent that we have here in Ireland."
The 11 Irish players expected to make the trip to Melbourne later this week are:
