Last week it was announced that Katie Taylor would be spearheading the first Croke Park boxing card since 1972, with the Olympic gold medallist set to face Flora Pili on September 5th.
The news was confirmed during a Matchroom press conference in Croker last Friday, following longstanding negotiations between organisers and the GAA.
One of Ireland's greatest ever athletes will see her name next to the legendary Muhammad Ali as the first boxer to fight in Croke Park since 1972.
Tickets are on sale this week for one of the biggest sporting events in Irish history.
Katie Taylor v Flora Pili will go on sale Wednesday, June 10 at 9am in a pre-sale to BP and Matchroom boxing members.
An hour later, pre-sale will open to all Lidl Plus customers.
General sale will finally be available on Friday the 12th of June at 9am.
The capacity is set to be over 80,000 - Matchroom officials confirmed - with ticket prices ranging from €38.70 general admission, to €106.25 - €1,505.50 for pitch-side-access.
Family ticket packages are priced at €125.50 (seated in a non-alcohol area in the stadium).
At her press conference, Katie Taylor said: "We've actually brought boxing back to Croke Park.
"This is going to be the most iconic moment of my whole career.
"I have a chance to become a three-time undisputed champion, how amazing is that? The perfect way to end my career."
Promoter Eddie Hearn paid a heart warming tribute to the Irish boxing legend.
He added: "Going through her career, from sending a DM saying she wanted to turn pro to those Serrano fights, the Cameron bouts, the journey has been incredible.
"It'll be the biggest crowd in the history of female sport for an individual athlete, it'll be one of the greatest sporting moments this country has ever seen. More important than that, it'll be her moment."
