He won the 2012 Champions League with Chelsea, the 2007 Copa America with the Brazilian national team, and national club titles in Brazil, Netherlands, England, and France.
Alex signed for the Blues in 2004 and remained at Stamford Bridge until 2012, making 86 appearances and registering seven goals.
The defender was on loan at PSV between 2004 and 2007, where he played 84 times and chipped in with 11 goals.
After his time with Chelsea, the Brazilian moved to PSG, where he remained for two seasons. After his period in the French capital, he moved to AC Milan, where he also stayed for two campaigns. Following his stint in Italy, he retired in 2016. He also made 17 caps for Brazil on the international stage.Related links:
