Ireland have unveiled their new away jersey ahead of it's debut tonight against Portugal.
John O'Shea's men will face the Euro 2024 hopefuls on Tuesday night in the final game of the 2023/2024 campaign for most before turning their attention to the Nations League clash against England in September.
Ahead of the game, images of the new jersey were posted to social media.
Featuring a white backdrop with a green and orange taper around the neck the kit has the sky sponsor emblazoned on the front of the shirt and has once again been manufactured by Castore.
However reacting to the unveiling of the jersey it appears that not many supporters are too pleased with it.
"Whens the last time we had a good jersey? Or manager? Or team? Or functioning FAI? Or money?" said one fan on X.
A second commented: "More jerseys than wins.
"The designers have excelled in their imaginative creativity..." added a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: "Looks like something out of Aldi."
As Ireland look to end this international break on a high having beaten Hungary last week, interim boss O'Shea has challenged his players to show a mean side to their game when they come up against Cristiano Ronaldo and co.
He said: "It’s a huge test for the boys, for all of us, but one we have to relish.
"It’s a simple scenario of if you go out and perform and play to your levels, focus on where we can stop, frustrate and also hurt Portugal…
"If we can do that and take the ideas that we have done against Belgium, Switzerland and Hungary and progress them away from home, get those ideas across and build the mentality in the group that we can frustrate, be compact, be horrible, but also know that quality play, intensity…
"You bring all those things together if you can, and then go score goals, most importantly – the chances to score goals are crucial for us and if we can do that away from home…
"You know what, it is needed sometimes away from home to get a result."
