According to the kit specialists, Arsenal will officially release their second strip on July 30, and they might get their first chance to use it when they face champions Leicester in their first away game of the season on August 20.
Eagle-eyed Arsenal fans will notice that the new shirt bears more than a passing resemblance to their alternate kit from 1999 to 2001 when Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp and Patrick Vieira were all in their pomp.
Unfortunately for Arsenal fans, the yellow Sega kit actually came at the most barren run of Wenger's early years at Arsenal, with the Gunners rolling out the yellow strip for two of the three season between their league and cup doubles of 1997/98 and 2001/2002.
Still, it's much better than that horrid blue one they trotted out for the 2002/03 season. Not even Robert Pires - aka the coolest man alive at that time - could make it look good.
