Bad news for Manchester United fans hoping for swift return of Adnan Januzaj

Manchester United's sterile football has upset a lot of fans.

And they have had a lot to be upset about this season. Wayne Rooney's form, Louis Van Gaal's odd tactics and substitutions, and the raft of young talented players that the club allowed leave on loan at the start of the season. One of these was Adnan Januzaj, who had looked like he had a bright future at the club under both David Moyes and in van Gaal's first season at Old Trafford. But he was sent on loan to Borussia Dortmund at the end of the transfer window where he has really failed to make any impression with the former German league champions. He did start Thursday's Europa League game against PAOK where he was given a 1/10 rating by one German newspaper so his future looks uncertain. Louis van Gaal promised the player would be brought back to England at the end of his loan spell, but there has been an increasing sense that he may be tempted back to England before next summer. According to The Mirror the young Belgian isn't so sure he'll ever feature for his boyhood club again, admitting that a return to Manchester is up in the air:

"I don’t know. I wanted to join somewhere I could play and there were a few things behind that were a problem but I’m happy here. I just need more games to play and then I’ll be fine.”

He played two games this season before his departure to Germany for Manchester United, and scored the winner in the 1-0 win over Aston Villa. However he has failed to make any major impact in the Bundesliga and admits he's been frustrated with his lack of action,

“I’m trying to do my best because obviously I’ve not got a lot of games in my legs which is difficult for me mentally, because I need more games to be a better player." “Also at the moment I don’t really have that level of fitness that allows me to do more than another player.

We think Most Manchester United fans would be happy to see him back at the club, but that decision could be up to LvG.
