And, nice guy that he is, Sinclair used his time waiting for the bus' return wisely as he returned to the stadium briefly to sign a few more autographs and take a few more photographs with his match ball and man-of-the-match champagne in his hands.
"It was a good memory to come off the bench here on my Celtic debut and score the winner and now I'm back and scoring a hat-trick and winning the game and winning the title," Sinclair said, in quotes from the Scottish Daily Record.
"It means so much to me after all I've been through in the last few years, not knowing where my career was going to end up.
"Relegation from Villa was tough and I didn't know where I was going.
"I was at a stage in my career where I was frustrated I couldn't show my attributes and what I could do for the team.
"It is great that I've come here and shown that week in, week out.
"Obviously, you have the thoughts of what you hope it's going to be like but this move has worked out even better than I expected.
"The main thing for me was to enjoy football again and I had lost that a bit.
"Now it is for me to keep working hard, keep looking forward and keep performing in games."
