Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez looks to have ruled out any chance of the club making a move to bring Cristiano Ronaldo back to the club with a brutal response. Ronaldo is looking to leave Manchester United after they failed to qualify for the Champions League last season but has struggled to find a move away. Interest in the 37-year-old has died down in recent weeks but his future has led to some speculation about him making a return to Madrid before the end of the transfer window. The forward is Los Blancos' all-time highest goalscorer with 450 goals in 438 games but, despite his incredible achievements, Madrid president Pérez isn't keen to bring him back. When asked by fans if he would consider re-signing Ronaldo, the president gave a brutal response: "Sign Cristiano? Again? Ronaldo featured in United's opening day defeat

Ronaldo missed a large majority of pre-season while he focused on sorting out his future but has since returned and was named on the bench for United's opening day defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion.
