Gareth Bale was disappointed not to start the Champions League final. He's disappointed at how he's being treated at Real Madrid this season. The Welsh man suffered an injury at the start of the year, and that kept him out of action for five weeks, but he's been fit and rearing to go for a good while now. But Zinedine Zidane hasn't given him much hop. The 28-year-old has only made 20 La Liga starts this year, he's only started three games in the Champions League. Gareth Bale is a competitor. And on top of being one of the best players in the world football he's ambitious, he's mad for action and sitting on the bench annoys the hell out of him. It says a lot about the man's character that he didn't wallow after not making the starting 11 on Saturday night. Instead he came on, instead he won the game for his club with two goals upon his introduction. Straight after the game, he was interviewed on eir sport, and he couldn't contain his frustration at the season he's had for much longer.

"Obviously, I need to be playing. I need to be playing week in, week out. That hasn't happened this season for one reason or another," he said in frustration. "I had a five, six week injury at the start of the season but I've been fit ever since. Obviously, I'll have to sit down with my agent and discuss it, and we'll take it from there."
