In the wake of the Dortmund news breaking, a number of rival fans have taking to social media to mock Liverpool for missing out on the player...even though there's no concrete evidence the club were in for him.
As for Liverpool supporters, many got a tad giddy when the player was first rumoured to be joining, but the sense now is it's no great loss. That's the party line anyway...
