Fans heading to the Aviva tomorrow night can expect much more increased security than is typical at big events in the stadium. It's expected that there will be an increased security presence as well as Gardai inside and outside of the stadium ahead of the 7.45 kick-off against Bosnia. According to Sky Sports, security is being asked to be extra vigilant, while there is to be an increased emphasis on searching of bags in and out of the stadium. The Aviva is normally swept by sniffer dogs before games as a precaution, and that will take place as normal early tomorrow afternoon. All security staff are understood to have been informed to be on maximum alert after the events of Paris with an increased security presence both inside, and outside, of the stadium. It has also been confirmed that there will be minute's silence before the Bosnia game in memory of those killed in France.‘I don’t feel uneasy about game. It was horrendous, the events in Paris, and it puts a lot into perspective, including football matches.
‘But I’m hoping that the stadium is well policed and hoping we will be okay.
‘I hadn't thought about that (the game being in danger), it was more thinking about the events in Paris itself.’
