Ireland versus Finland kicks off at 7.45 pm at the Aviva Stadium.
The game will be shown live on RTÉ 2, and the RTÉ Player, with coverage starting at 7 pm.
Ireland are currently in third place in Group B with three points from four matches. Heimir Hallgrimsson's team beat Finland away in October.
Ireland will avoid automatic relegation to League C with a win or a draw tonight.
If they finish third in the group, as they will do if they avoid defeat against Finland, then the Boys in Green will go into a two-legged relegation play-off match next March against an opponent from League C.
In the other match in the group on Thursday evening, England face Greece in Athens.
