Ireland striker Adam Idah joined Celtic last summer from Norwich for £9.5m. He made the move following a loan spell with the club where he scored nine goals and grabbed the winner in the Scottish Cup final.
Idah's first full-season for the Bhoys saw him finish with 20 goals in all competitions, with three coming in a strong Champions League campaign for Celtic.
The 24-year-old wasn't able to clinch another Scottish Cup as Celtic were defeated by Aberdeen in the final. He was able to contribute to yet another Scottish Premiership title for the club.
Idah, however, struggled at times during the campaign, even going 14 games without a goal. He also attracted criticism from former Celtic stars even when returning to form at the end of the season.
Idah spoke on what it's been like to deal with the pressure of playing with the Scottish giants and deal with that sort of scrutiny from ex-players.
He said: "If you don’t score for a couple of games, it is not helpful to listen to an ex-player. I am not really concerned with what he thinks - I am there to my bit."
The Ireland striker also responded to a video incident that occurred in April during a night out.
The Bhoys number nine can be seen videoed getting sick in a taxi. Idah has now revealed how it's affected him and how Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers reacted.
He said: "It didn't impact me. I was out on a day off, that was that. [Brendan Rodgers] understood. I was off, I went out with the boys and that was that. There was no problem with the manager, he spoke about it really well.
“I will be videoed but at the end of the day I am a human being. I go out. I don’t have to stay inside all the time. It’s hard when people are videoing you, it can be quite upsetting, especially when the story is made out to be what it is not."
The Irishman added: “It can be tough but like I said, I am human and I’m going to carry on with my life.”
