Troy Parrott grabbed all of the headlines in the Dutch Eredivisie last night as he scored four goals in AZ Alkmaar's 9-1 win over Heerenveen.
The 22-year-old signed for Alkmaar from Tottenham Hotspur in July for a reported fee of €8 million.
After signing for the London club from Belvedere in 2017, Parrott went on to spend his seven years at the club on back-to-back loan spells - the most successful of which was at MK Dons where he made 47 appearances and scored ten goals.
The Dubliner put the home side 2-1 ahead in the 23rd minute yesterday, a lead they held until half-time.

After the break, the Dubliner went into overdrive, scoring three more times in the first eight minutes of the second period to leave his side 5-1 up.
AZ Alkmaar went on to win the game 9-1, putting them second in the table and just two points behind leaders PSV Eindhoven.
It was clear at the end of the game that the home fans have a lot of love for the young Irish striker already.
While Parrott was an unused substitute in Heimir Hallgrímsson's first two games in charge of Ireland, he'll surely force his way into the Icelandic manager's team sheet if he keeps pulling out performances like the one he produced last night.
