Klopp missed the game due to a bout of appendicitis, which saw him carted off to hospital on Saturday for emergency surgery and it was feared that he may miss this Tuesday's FA Cup replay with West Ham as he recuperated.
However, according to reports this morning in the Daily Mirror, Klopp discharged himself after undergoing surgery on Saturday morning and is expected back at work today.
Klopp was understood to have been told to take it easy to avoid aggravating his stitches but the German returned to his family home last night.
He is likely to be kept under close observation by Liverpool medical staff and may still miss Tuesday's clash at Upton Park if medics feel he is not well enough.
Or just seeing Mignolet face up to West Ham again could send in him into a state of shock.
