Liverpool’s sale of Jordon Ibe could prove to be very good news for Wycombe Wanderers

Jordon Ibe, the man who was once pegged as the next Raheem Sterling, has been sold by Liverpool.

Bournemouth have snapped up the England Under-21 international on a four-year contract for a reported club record fee of €18 million. The 20-year-old agreed personal terms before completing a medical in England on Wednesday. He is set to join up with his new Bournemouth teammates stateside on their preseason tour of Minnesota and Chicago.   The real winners from this transfer may be Wycombe Wanderers, whom Liverpool signed Ibe from in 2011. The League Two club are set to receive a percentage of the sale and according to a club statement, they are currently in the process of finding out exactly what the financial implications are of the of the sell-on clause they inserted into the 2011 deal. Considering the amount of money Bournemouth splashed out on the youngster though, it's looking good for Wycombe.
