Manchester United's season continued to fizzle out after they were hammered 4-0 by Crystal Palace.
The Eagles were in fine form going into the game but were helped by some catastrophic defending from Erik ten Hag's side as they cruised to victory.
Michael Olise was the standout with a brace, his second a thunderous effort from the edge of the box while Jean-Philippe Mateta scored at Selhurst Park for the sixth game in a row.
Academy graduate Tyrick Mitchell was also on the scoresheet in a new low for the Red Devils.
Understandably there was plenty of anger from United fans watching the game and they made their feelings known online.
Rio Ferdinand was one of those, tweeting shortly after the fourth goal: "Going bed... night all".
Another user said: "This Man United defensive shape might be the worst in the Premier League. They look like they are playing with 9 men."
A third added: "This is one of the worst Man United performances of all time and it's not even top 5 worst this season.
"Although injuries are understandable, Man United's starting lineup have ample quality to stay competitive. While fatigue and limited bench depth may cause struggles, their performance tells a story. A commanding 4-0 lead by the 60th minute," stated another.
"The league table flatters Man United so much cause based on actual performances they should be 13/14th at best. Outplayed by every single team in the league home and away including the likes of Sheffield," said a fifth.
