The Champions League winners have long been admirers of David De Gea, so much so that he was on the verge of a transfer in 2015.
After the deal fell through, he signed a four-year deal to stay at Manchester United but two years later and it was thought that Zinedine Zidane would look to bring the Spaniard to the Bernabéu.
But according to Marca, it looks like Real Madrid will not look to pursue the 26-year-old.
The Spanish newspaper reports that the club are not willing to spend the €75m that Manchester United would demand for De Gea and manager Zinedine Zidane is happy with Keylor Navas in goal.
The Costa Rican has been in fine form for Los Blancos and players at the club have reportedly asked for the club to retain the services of Navas.
The 30-year-old moved to Madrid from Levante back in 2014 and has been the first choice ever since Iker Casillas left the club in 2015.
