Mohamed Salah has provided a new update on his Liverpool future as he enters the final year of his contract.
Liverpool fans have been eagerly anticipating an update and the Reds legend has provided it in a new interview.
Salah, who joined Liverpool from Roma in 2017, said in the interview that he has 'one year left' at Anfield and it was time to 'enjoy' the season and not focus on a new contract.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the 32-year-old stated:
“I came before the season, and I was like okay, I have one year left so just enjoy it, don’t think about the contract now, don’t think about anything and really just enjoy.
"I don’t want to think about next year and don’t want to think about my future.
"The most important thing is to take one day at a time and just be grateful to be here."
Salah has made 351 appearances for Liverpool so far, scored 213 goals, and registered 90 assists.
The Egyptian was a key part of the teams that won the Champions League in 2019, and the Premier League in 2020.
