Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has officially been announced as the new Beşiktaş manage.
Initially taking charge to replace Jose Mourinho on an interim basis in the 2018/19 season, Solskjaer went on to take the permanent role at the club after a spectacular spell - in which he won 14 out of 19 matches.
Departing the club after a 4-1 defeat to Watford, Solskjaer left as a fan favourite and adored by the United faithful.
Having been out of management since departing Old Trafford in November 2021, the Norwegian gaffer is now 'finalising a deal' with Turkish giants Besiktas, which has been confirmed by the club.
Following his reveal, he could even face United, his former club, in the Europa League later this season.
The club have won just two out of six of their European games and occupy 28th place.
Besiktas, without a permanent head coach since Giovanni van Bronckhorst was relieved of his duties in late November, need Solskjaer to turn around their fortunes if they are to qualify for the knockout stages of the Europa League.
