Earlier this morning, the official Premier League fixtures were announced for the 2025/26 season.
The fixtures for next season's Premier League include all the usual expected big clashes and thrilling games that make the Premier League we know and love.
Three new teams have been added to the mix with Leeds, Burnley and Sunderland all promoted, offering some familiar but lesser visited away days for the Premier League mainstays.
The first weekend of the season has thrown up some big games with Man United hosting Arsenal at Old Trafford and Aston Villa playing Newcastle at Villa Park.
Meanwhile, Man City will be looking to reclaim the Premier League title as they kick off their campaign away to Wolves on Saturday 16 August.
However, fans were quick to notice that there appears to be no fixtures on Boxing Day.
All the games for Matchweek 18 are scheduled for December 27 this year.
However, in a statement, the Premier League have clarified that there could still be games played on Boxing Day.
A statement from the Premier League on the Boxing Day scheduling reads: "In keeping with our commitment to providing a greater rest period over the Christmas and New Year period, no club will be requested to play less than 48 hours between Match Rounds 18 and 19 (December 27 and December 30).
"Matches in Round 18 (December 27) are available for movement to Boxing Day for live broadcast selection.
"Each club has a home match on either 27 December or 3 January, with travel reduced on 27 December and 30 December."
Last year, eight games were moved to Boxing Day while two fixtures were played on December 27.
