Real Madrid’s dreams of landing another Galactico dealt a blow

We're approaching the smokey end of 2015 but football eyes are already being turned to the summer of 2016.

We'll have European Championships to worry about on these shores, while for clubs across the continent, they'll be hoping to snaffle some prized talents on show in France over the course of the four weeks. One of the players who may have a major say in the tournament is Poland's Robert Lewandowski, who has been heavily linked with a move to Spain and to Real Madrid over the last number of months. But it appears that the Bayern Munich striker isn't going anywhere near  the Mediterranean according to not only his own comments, but that of Bayern's powerbroker Karlheinz Rummennigge. The striker himself has denied any links with a move away from the Allianz arena in an interview with Bild: And ahead of Bayern's trip to Croatia to face Dinamo Zagreb, the former German football legend told reporters that he had no worries over the future of the club talisman and now four time world record holder,

"A look at the current contract shows that there is no reason for getting worried."

Lewandowski has a contract with the German champions until 2019 but if Spain doesn't tickle his fancy, then perhaps France or England may be more to his liking.
