This was apparent in his somewhat frustrating decision to play Jamie Vardy on the left flank. It certainly wasn't to the supporters' liking as they felt it was a waste of a natural goalscorer.
The player himself wasn't happy either. Out of position and out of sorts to accommodate a 'greedy' Harry Kane, the Leicester man decided to take his annoyance out on himself.
That's right - Vardy wasn't having a party but a punch-up, and with his own face at that. At one point he was so angry at himself for missing a chance that he thumped his own money-maker.
And yes, it's every bit as ridiculous as it sounds. It's a good thing he scored the winner otherwise he could have ruled himself out of next month's tournament...
