Good role models are a special thing and when you see kids dreaming as high as their metabolism levels, it is beautiful. At 11 years of age, Sean Roberts sees someone like Dimitri Payet producing the spectacular and he thinks, "I could do that." The Frenchman lit up West Ham's new Olympic Stadium at the weekend and he lit up the eyes of hopefuls the world over. He lit up their imaginations. He freed them to go do something as audacious themselves. When an 11-year-old watches someone like Dimitri Payet play, it is liberating. They see his invention, the fun that he has, the plaudits that he takes and they want the same for themselves. Like a ripple effect, one glorious assist is spreading throughout the isles and Derry children are already reenacting the magic - and bettering it. Newell Acadmey beat Brightstars 6-1 at St. Columb's Park in the city's Waterside but the take-home message was this absolute piece of genius from Sean Roberts. The ball rebounds out to him, he plants his right foot, swings his left leg behind and with the most sublime of chips, he dinks the ball over three heads and into the net.
