Fitzmaurice's change to the starting 15 is to bring in Kilcummin's Kevin McCarthy for Micheal Burns. McCarthy will take his place alongside Seán O'Shea and Stephen O'Brien.
The Kingdom are otherwise unchanged, with David Moran and Jack Barry in midfield and the ominous scoring potential of David Clifford, Paul Geaney and James O'Donoghue in the full forward line.
The other alteration is on the bench. Veteran forward Donnchadh Walsh gets the No.26 jersey as Dingle's Barry O'Sullivan drops out.
Throw-in for the game is 4pm, with Kildare versus Monaghan serving as a tantalising appetiser at 2pm.
