Slaughtneil were due to play Sarsfields in the All-Ireland club semi-final tomorrow afternoon, but the pitch in Cavan was deemed unplayable after inspection, so like other games this weekend they opted to go elsewhere.
However, unlike other the games, the Camogie Association has decided that the best pitch to host this game, is roughly a 500km round trip - for both teams!

Not to mention the fact that it's the latest of late notice, but the organisation could not have dragged both teams further away to play this important fixture.
Irish News journalist Cathair O'Kane shared some screenshots of Google Maps, just to highlight the absurdity of this decision.
