Bryson DeChambeau has won over many fans with his YouTube content.
Some of his most popular videos come from his 'Break 50' series, where the two-time major champion teams up with a fellow golfer or athlete, and they play a scramble off the front tees and try to finish 18 holes in less than 50 shots.
His last video featured Golden State Warriors great, Steph Curry, who is also an avid golfer.
The NBA icon completely exceeded expectations and outplayed DeChambeau for much of the round, as the pair finished with 49, the first time Bryson had completed the challenge with just one more player.
In recent months, there has been needle between DeChambeau and Rory McIlroy, with subtle digs aimed at each other during the latter's win at the Masters in April, before words were thrown at each other in the lead up to last month's Ryder Cup.
DeChambeau said: “I’ll be chirping in [McIlroy’s] ear this time. Now, if we go up against each other, I mean, you can be sure of it."
McIlroy responded: “I think the only way he gets attention is by mentioning other people. That is basically what I think of that. To get attention he will mention me or Scottie [Scheffler] or others."
In the video with Curry, DeChambeau talks about dealing with failure, and manages to sneak in a reference to players missing three-foot putts for majors, which McIlroy did at the US Open last year, handing victory to his American rival.
Talking to Curry, DeChambeau said: "That's one of the things for me, when I fail, when I lost to Patrick Cantlay at Caves Valley, and I remember missing a five-footer to win.
"It was one of the toughest moments of my career, and people have had tougher moments, missing three-footers and putts for major championships and what not.
"But that one stuck out to me as like a learning moment of, 'ok this isn't going to define me, I'm not going to let it define me'."
