Rory McIlroy hailed ‘King of the North’ after teeing off at Pebble

Golfer Rory McIlroy has been hailed as the King of the North by an enthusiastic spectator at Pebble Beach.

McIlroy began his final round charge with some positive affirmation from the stands that he was the king after his Canadian Open win earlier this month. McIlroy wore a Toronto Raptors jersey after his win with the NBA champions adopting We The North as part of their branding this season.
