Yep, not good. In fact, Tiger only earned $610,775 in prize money in 2014. Yes, a huge amount of money to most of us but in Tiger's world it is tiny. For example, in 2009 Tiger won $21m in prize money alone.
Anyway, despite having a brute of a year on course, Tiger Woods still came top of Golf Digest's annual earning's list for 2014.
Tiger has led the list every year since it started in 2004 but it looks like this may well be his last one at the summit. Thanks to his various endorsements, Tiger banked a total of $55.1m in 2014, well over $1m a week.
Second on the list is Phil Mickelson, who earned $50.7m while our own Rory McIlroy was third with $49.2m. Thanks to two Major victories, plus some juicy new sponsorship deals, Rory is well placed to perhaps overtake Tiger in next year's list if he continues to play so well.
The magazine estimates that Tiger Woods has now earned over $1.3billion in his career, with only $155.8 coming on course but even if his best playing days are behind him, Woods' bank manager shouldn't get too concerned.
Fourth on the list is the long retired Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus is fifth, both of whom benefit still from the many deals and course designs they did during their careers.Football
