One such frightening creature made its way onto the fairway during Ryan Ruffels' round.
The 18-year-old who only turned professional last year showed bravery way beyond his years as he ushered the alligator back into the water.

We can't imagine we would have the same reaction if we had the pleasure of playing on such a good course.
Heck, we probably wouldn't even want to play in Florida because of these terrifying, bloody things.
It didn't seem to hamper his performance anyway.
At the time of writing, Ruffels is currently tied for sixth with a few holes still left to play.
At least it didn't end as badly as it did for poor Chubbs Peterson....
