Un De Sceaux could do nothing to stop Balko Des Flos as he stormed to the finish line to win the Ryanair Chase in dramatic fashion. Cue card was also involved in the Ryanair chase and that was another disappointing performance with questions now arising if that was Cue Cards last race. The race could have been a different outcome had Ruby Walsh been on Un De Sceaux but as we know Ruby Walsh is now out for the rest of the festival with a broken leg. Paul Townend has come in for heavy criticism and he did not cover himself in glory with that ride. Reaction from the race has seen praise being heaped on Ruby Walsh even though he didn't take part in the race.
