Ladd faced the toughest test of her short career at UFC 229 against Evinger, a former Invicta bantamweight champion who fought Cris Cyborg in her last fight, and by all means equipped herself very well against the most dominate female on the planet.
The California fighter though was unperturbed by Evinger's championship pedigree, as she completely dominated her adversary from start to finish.
From the get-go Ladd applied pressure and it wasn't long before she had grabbed a foothold on the contest.
The undefeated fighter took Evinger to the ground and looked completely unstoppable as she imposed her will on the veteran on her way to a first round TKO.
Whilst Ladd's performance was dominant. The aggressive nature with which she dismantled Evinger was almost uneasy viewing as you could hear her scream with every shot that she landed on her grounded opponent.
