REVEALED: Conor McGregor and TJ Dillashaw had to be pulled apart at UFC 184

The Notorious was backstage, following the event, and hanging out with celebrities and other UFC stars. One of those stars was UFC bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw, who is not a fan of the Dubliner. Urijah Faber, speaking on Submission Radio, takes up the tale. 'Conor and I have been around each other [for The Ultimate Fighter] and have an interesting relationship,' he said, 'but him and TJ, on two different occasions, have gotten into it with things escalating to, you know, them kind of bad mouthing each other. 'So there’s a little tension there as well and I think that’s a good fight the fans would love to see.' Faber continued, 'One time TJ and Conor and I, in the back of the Ronda Rousey fight in LA, we were in just a private little bar with celebrities and the UFC brass and words were exchanged. 'TJ was talking about Conor’s title shot [against Jose Aldo, before the Brazilian was injured]. 'He and Conor went back and forth and they were getting on each other’s nerves, really. So I think they ended up having to be split up a little bit.' Dillashaw has spoken, in the past, about the UFC teeing up a super-fight against the interim featherweight champion. Faber says his Team Alpha Male stable-mate would have a fighting chance. 'Conor is a big, big guy for the weight class,' he began, 'but this is the era to be seeing fights like that. 'And as far as money goes. and getting a fight that would really showcase TJ, I think that’s a great fight as well.' UPDATE: Conor's coach John Kavanagh has been in touch with us to give the Dubliner's version of events and he's denied that there was any physical confrontation between both men. He's denied the claims by Faber that both men had to be 'spilt up' after talking about McGregor's scheduled featherweight title shot with Jose Aldo.
