Conor McGregor blamed for most high profile fallout in recent UFC history

It's actually quite impressive that Conor McGregor has managed to get his name attached to the infamous fallout at Team Alpha Male.

Every MMA fan knows the story at this stage. The relationship between Urijah Faber and TJ Dillashaw's striking coach Duane "Bang" Ludwig broke down, which resulted in Dillashaw jumping ship and moving to Colorado. As a result of the UFC bantamweight champion's decision, he has been banned from showing his face at the gym that moulded him into a champion and he's changed his tune on fighting former mentor Faber. Ludwig appeared on the MMA Hour this week and pointed the finger of blame for the fallout escalating squarely on the shoulders of Conor McGregor. Ludwig reckons Faber was so riled up by the Notorious' mind games on the Ultimate Fighter that it caused him to overreact to Dillashaw's decision.

"He (Urijah) is just wrapped up in drama mode from being punked on the show from Conor so much. Conor really got in his head, so he’s trying to take it out on me and then it’s just overspilling. It’s just escalating. Just put the brakes on it, man. Nobody needs this right now."

The former UFC fighter admitted that the breakdown in the relationship between Dillashaw and Faber is extremely unfortunate. He reckons that the situation worked out terribly for everyone involved.

"It’s super unfortunate that Faber kicked him [Dillashaw] out. I don’t think that’s quite supportive or being a friend. I think we should all be working together, especially as martial artists. And for anyone to close the door on somebody else just isn’t fair. I don’t think that’s ethical. It’s his decision, but I don’t think it’s best for T.J. and the guys. They should be working together."
