WATCH: Conor McGregor reveals how he fixed his broken relationship with Dana White

Conor McGregor and Dana White may not be back to best buddies yet, but the fracture in their relationship is well on its way to being set to almost new, according to the Dubliner. The UFC featherweight champion met with White and the co-owner of the promotion, Lorenzo Fertitta, earlier this week, and has revealed their discussions about his future. The dinner date in Los Angeles was the first time any of the parties had met since McGregor went off the range last month and pulled out of UFC 200 and his scheduled headline rematch with Nate Diaz. "I met with Dana and Mr. Fertitta, good conversation like it always is. "We have a good relationship. It is what it is. It happens. This is the fight game. Sometimes emotions get into it but it's important to recognize that emotions have no place in business. "So that's essentially what it was last night. We just set it aside. There's no place for emotions in this. We are doing beautiful things so let's continue. Let's fix it and continue."

The meeting will increase speculation that the Dubliner's next fight will take place at UFC 202, and it will be announced shortly. There are also reports that the August UFC event may feature the rematch with Diaz, which McGregor is understood to want more than a defence of his featherweight belt.
