Are we ever going to see Rousey vs. 'Cyborg'?

The most talked-about women's fight in MMA history looks destined to be resigned to the realm of speculation, with fans arguing back-and-forth over the hypothetical outcome. It looked like we were edging closer to the eventual meeting of the two most successful female fighters in history when Cris 'Cyborg' Justino made her UFC debut in May at a catchweight of 140 lbs. The Invicta featherweight champion has never fought at Rousey's home of 135 lbs but it appeared as though everything was moving in the right direction. But with the current state of the UFC women's bantamweight division, who knows if they'll ever meet. Rousey, if she does decide to return to the Octagon, has been promised an immediate shot at the belt which is now held by Amanda Nunes. And with no indication of a 'Rowdy' comeback any time soon, it's not looking great for the realisation of Rousey vs. 'Cyborg'. That's not for a want of trying from the Brazilian's end as 'Cyborg' has repeatedly asked for the match-up in some very creative ways but her most recent reference to Rousey was a tad bizarre. 'Cyborg' posted a tweet on Friday, claiming she had heard rumours that the former long-time UFC women's bantamweight champion was expecting a baby. https://twitter.com/criscyborg/status/758800437625679872?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw It wouldn't be a shock, considering the fact that Rousey has recently said "I need to have his babies," when speaking about boyfriend and UFC heavyweight fighter Travis Browne. But apparently, pregnancy is not the reason that Rousey is not returning to the Octagon. TMZ contacted UFC president Dana White to comment on the rumour that 'Rowdy' was expecting but White, having spoken to her, denied the claims.
