All of a sudden, Nick Diaz has decided that he wants to come back... to fight Daniel Cormier?

Daniel Cormier have a couple more prizefights before he bows out of the sport for good. However, no one with more than two brain cells to rub together wants to see them fight each other.
Cormier became a
double world champion at UFC 226. The light heavyweight king added the heavyweight strap to his trophy cabinet by knocking out
Stipe Miocic inside the first round. Although Cormier claimed that a title defence against a
fellow 205 lb legend could be on the cards next, that seems like a risky move considering he has already a huge money fight lined up. A lucrative payday against
Brock Lesnar appears to be the logical next fight for the double champion. All going well, the WWE superstar and former UFC heavyweight champion should be able to return in January 2019.
The manner in which Lesnar sold the fight against Cormier didn't sit well with a lot of fans. One man who didn't enjoy the interaction between Cormier and Lesnar inside the cage is inactive UFC star Nick Diaz.

Don't be scared homie
Diaz became eligible to fight again in April after his a one-year USADA suspension due to a whereabouts violation. The last time he was seen inside the Octagon was in a middleweight contest against Anderson Silva in 2015. On that night, the unanimous decision win for 'the Spider' was overturned to a No Contest after Silva tested positive for drostanolone and androsterone. According to an Instagram post from Diaz, he’s ready to make his comeback. He just has one condition - a belt needs to be on the line for his return bout.
Aside from a couple of catchweight and middleweight contests, the Stockton native has fought mostly at welterweight. However, he is willing to fight at any weight class, and he seems pretty keen on taking on the light heavyweight and heavyweight champion. According to Diaz, it's 'nothing personal,' he just dislikes what Cormier does to the point where he finds himself constantly 'embarrassed' for him.

34-year-old Diaz hasn't won a fight since beating BJ Penn in 2011. This started a five-fight losing streak for 'the Prodigy'. Meanwhile, the only man Cormier has ever lost to is Jon Jones, arguably the greatest fighter to grace an Octagon.
This would be an even more one-sided beatdown than complex carbohydrates vs Matt Serra.
