Decision finally made over Conor McGregor’s successor as undisputed featherweight champion

Until either man has his hands raised in victory, there will always be talk of Conor McGregor and his claim to the featherweight belt.

With Max Holloway making waves in the featherweight division (10-fight winning streak), he eventually won the interim belt with a win over Anthony Pettis at UFC 206. Now, the fight which everyone wants to see, Aldo vs Holloway, looks set to take place in the summer, to determine who is the undisputed featherweight champion. The fight was confirmed as signed and sealed by UFC president Dana While on ESPN#s Five Rounds podcast with Brett Okamoto. The only thing White neglected to mention was when, where and what pay-per-view. The bout was then confirmed by Brazilian outlet Combate as June 3 and UFC 212, which is set to take place in Rio de Janeiro.
