He said: "Everyone thinks that I have already lost the battle. Think about the Americans who listen to his chatter and believe every word. What he is doing is just very American. He promotes his fights with a lot of trash talk. The Americans probably think that the one who talks the most, win. That's their attitude, I think nothing of it.
"You cannot just hype someone after four fights. In his last fight he looked good, but the fight was only two minutes or so. For me, he landed a lucky shot because until then the whole thing was finely balanced. That fight was not a statement for me. And the fights before were nothing special either. I'm not impressed at all.
"In the end, it will be a victory for me. But it will be hard, he has an uncomfortable fighting style and will likely come out and go forward. He has promised to destroy me in two minutes.
"He can shove his forecasts up his ass. When I'm done with him on Sunday, I'll laugh about his prediction. I used to read all the interviews but I don't any more, because it's getting ridiculous now."
Siver revealed that the breaking point for him was McGregor's comments that referred to the German as a Nazi.
"The Nazi remark was too much but he was kind of an exaggerated version of himself there. It's done me well to get to know him personally, though, because I've since seen what kind of an idiot he is.
"This whole shit on camera I can understand. But if he acts this way in private, behind the camera, that proves to me that he is a bad person and an asshole."
The Taekwondo black belt was also very vocal in his belief that McGregor is not deserving of a title shot, something that the UFC has promised the Irishman if he gets past Siver.
He said: "I think it's a bit too early. There are plenty of other people who have done more. I don't know why they're rushing this, whether or not it's because of his babble doesn't matter because I'll spoil the whole thing for him anyway."
We eagerly await a McGregor riposte.
