Frankie Edgar thinks that, in a best out of five series of fights, Jose Aldo beats Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor's next move is up in the air but while he and the UFC figure things out, Frankie Edgar has got an enormous fight on the horizon.

Edgar meets former long-time UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo for the interim belt at UFC 200, in a rematch of their UFC 156 clash which saw the Brazilian continue his reign of dominance at 145 lbs with a unanimous decision victory. The rematch will decide who McGregor will face if/when he decides to defend his title following his swift knockout of Aldo in the main event of UFC 194 last December. The left hook that put Aldo's lights out has been described as a fluke by the Brazilian ever since and Edgar actually maintains that Aldo is still the superior fighter in his eyes. "Styles make fights," Edgar said while speaking on New York radio show Opie & Jim Norton. "I think if Jose and Conor fought ten times, that fight wouldn't happen that way every time. It'd happen differently. "Best out of five, I'm going to say Aldo. I do think he's the better guy! "It's hard to say when he got knocked out in 13 seconds but just what he's done in his career and based on Conor's last fight, I think Aldo would be able to get it done."
