Newer fans may be more familiar with middleweight St-Pierre. Although we've only seen this incarnation of him once.
He returned to the Octagon after a four-year hiatus to challenge for Michael Bisping's middleweight title in November 2017. St-Pierre won via third round rear-naked choke to join an elite group of two-weight UFC champions, following in the footsteps of Randy Couture, BJ Penn and Conor McGregor. Daniel Cormier has since completed this feat by winning the light-heavyweight and heavyweight straps.
St-Pierre's reign as middleweight king remains the shortest in UFC history in any division. He vacated the strap 34 days after winning it due to the digestive disorder ulcerative colitis.
Here's what he looked like in his only ever fight at 185 lbs.
Lest we forget, it wasn't that long ago when GSP was listed as a lightweight contender on FOX. https://twitter.com/UFCONFOX/status/1031608850162413570 The man's never fought at 155 lbs in his life. At least, not yet.Oh you’re coming for the 155lb belt for sure.
