They've now signed another famous face from the world of MMA as news broke this morning that former UFC women's bantamweight champion, Miesha Tate is relocating to Singapore to take up a role as vice-president of the organisation.
"I am thrilled to join ONE Championship as a vice president," Tate said in a statement in the ONE press release. "I’m honoured to bring my experience as a World Champion and to help inspire the next generation of athletes. And of course, I am excited to relocate to my new home, Singapore, and travel throughout Asia!"
Tate is well known to MMA fans around the world having fought the likes of Ronda Rousey, Holly Holm, Cat Zingano and Amanda Nunes. She was a world champion in both the UFC and Strikeforce. Tate retired in 2016 after suffering two straight losses, and recently gave birth to a daughter.
