Declaring himself to be a 'mother******* G', Diaz says there was no shame in 'The Notorious' losing to him. There will be no shame either, he says, in losing to him again. The fact that McGregor, the featherweight champion, is fighting at welterweight [170lbs] again means he will not be defending his belt at the biggest UFC event of the year. Having been promised 'whatever he wants' by UFC president Dana White, Edgar should get McGregor next IF he wins and IF McGregor ever drops back to 155. Diaz said:

"I feel bad for Frankie Edgar, that's my dude right there. I like him. "He was supposed to fight Conor McGregor a long time ago. This was his fight, too, and he got f***ed around a little bit. I hope he gets what he wants in the future. "I hope he's listening because I had to get what I wanted cause I wasn't getting f***ed so I hope he does get what he wants and gets what he deserves. I wish he would have got his fight this time."

As for the short-term future, Diaz feels confident going into UFC 200. After that, he is planning to hang around at 170 unless he gets a lightweight title shot or a wheelbarrow full of money.
