The only man to take Conor McGregor the distance wants a rematch with The Notorious

Conor McGregor isn't too familiar with mixed martial arts judges.

The Notorious has only required their scorecards on one occasion in his professional career and that came in his second UFC bout, an August 2013 clash against fellow up-and-comer Max Holloway. McGregor had suffered a serious knee injury against the Hawaiian and resorted to a grappling-heavy gameplan but Holloway, who has gone 6-0 since that fight, is looking forward to a rematch and lengthy rivalry with the Irishman. Blessed told Inside MMA:

"With that Conor McGregor fight, I think me and him are so young that we're going to be butting heads a couple of times. "I see me fighting him a bunch of times and it sucks because everybody talks about his injury, he got hurt in the fight but that was at the end of the second round. He was injured for the third round but I got injured in the first 30 seconds of the fight. "I hurt my ankle real bad and I couldn't move. I have respect for the guy, a lot of respect. And he has a lot of respect for me. "He always talks about the whole division but he always forgets one name to bring up and that's Max Holloway."

The number 5 ranked Holloway fights Charles Oliveira in the main event of UFC Fight Night 74 in two week's time and, with a win, he could well be in with a shout to take on McGregor depending on the outcome of the featherweight title unification bout between Aldo and McGregor.
