Twitter reacts to UFC star Jon Jones avoiding jail time

Jon Jones won't see the inside of a jail cell for his involvement in a hit-and-run in which a pregnant woman broke her arm.

Instead, the former UFC light-heavyweight and pound-for-pound king was given 18 months of supervised probation and will be required to make 72 youth outreach/charity appearances. Many saw this as a lenient punishment considering the charges brought against the fighter and the reaction to his sentencing on social media has been somewhat mixed.
