Conor McGregor had the whole audience in fits of laughter on Conan

Conor McGregor had a very memorable appearance on Conan O'Brien's late night talk show this week.

The Notorious joined the king of late night to promote his upcoming bout with Chad Mendes for the interim featherweight belt. McGregor seemed to be a perfect fit for Conan's off beat style as he had the whole audience in stitches at several points throughout the show. One topic for hilarity was McGregor's body art. Conan drew attention to how intimidating his chest piece which sparked a great response from the Dubliner.

Conan: "It's a gorilla wearing a crown eating a heart." McGregor: "Yeah it's very low-key, just like me. (laughter break) You always hear people talking about tattoos. It has this special meaning, but for me, I just like the way it looks. You hear people say they have a goldfish on their ass cheek and it's a symbol of hope (laughter break.)"

McGregor also brought the house down with a dig at Jose Aldo, who pulled out of UFC 189 with a rib injury.

"He (Aldo) has been medically cleared to fight. Doctors have looked at him, examined him. He went out and saw a gynaecologist and it turns out... (laughter break)."

When asked whether he engaged in the practice of not having sex in the lead up to a fight, McGregor was firm that this method wasn't for him.

"I have as much sex as possible. (laughter break)"

The Notorious may well have gained a few more fans from his appearance on the chat show.
