Vines: Every single finish from UFC 186, including the cruelest of submissions in the main event

Despite the lack of marquee names, UFC 186 delivered some intriguing bouts.

In the main event, Kyoji Horiguchi was incredibly unlucky not to go the distance against undisputed flyweight king Demetrious Johnson. Mighty Mouse dominated the fight and made an immaculate transition in the final round to lock in an armbar. DJ forced the tap from the 24-year-old with one second left until the final bell, making it the latest stoppage in UFC history. John Makdessi dispatched of promotional newcomer Shane Campbell with ease in their 160 lb catcheweight bout.  Makdessi opened up with a striking clinic against the late replacement fighter, dropping him to the canvas with a brutal uppercut and eventually pummelling him into submission at 4:53 of the opening round. Bantamweight rising star Thomas Almeida maintained his pristine professional record with a devastating TKO victory over Yves Jabouin. Referee Yves Lavigne decided that his namesake wasn't defending himself properly from the Brazilian's unrelenting strikes and called the fight to a halt in the first round. Alexis Davis defeated her compatriot Sarah Kaufman in a women's bantamweight clash on the preliminary card. Ally-Gator was losing the stand-up battle with Kaufman and looked on course for the second loss of her career to the kickboxer. However, she turned the tables by reversing a throw and securing an armbar to force the tap in the second round. Kicking off the prelims, Canadian lightweight Olivier Aubin-Mercier scored a sublime submission victory over David Michaud. The Quebec Kid submitted the American with a rear-naked choke with just over 96 seconds left in the final stanza.
