WATCH: Conor McGregor offers another reason why he flung bottles at Nate Diaz

Many would have predicted the final UFC 202 press conference kicking off but few would have guessed the manner of how it all went down. The press briefing started without a tardy McGregor and rattled along nicely until, 20 minutes in, The Notorious entered the building. Nate Diaz, his opponent, hung about for a couple of McGregor answers then had enough. Up he got and off he strolled, entourage in tow. Then, some bright spark decided to launch a bottle in McGregor's direction. Red rag to a bull. On UFC Tonight, McGregor offered a new reason for the flare-up:

"I seen people panicking up in the stands. I thought it was a case of dehydration so I was simply launching up some hydration. We're out in the desert, it's intense... I don't know what happened. I just defended myself and that's it."
