WATCH: Conor McGregor drilling wrestling techniques ahead of UFC 189

Whether it's Jose Aldo or Chad Mendes, Conor McGregor knows that he'll have to be well aware of a possible grappling-oriented gameplan at UFC 189.

The Notorious has primarily shown vicious stand-up in his five fights with the UFC which leads some naysayers to believe that the Dublin featherweight lacks the skills to deal with elite-level wrestlers. But McGregor is proving that he is working on every element of his mixed martial arts game as he drills some takedown techniques with his wrestling coach in The Ultimate Fighter gym. The beginning of the clip shows that McGregor is well prepared for a sprawl-and-brawl tactic if his opponent takes a lazy shot on his legs while the second half displays some offensive wrestling from the featherweight title challenger.
