The fighter, real name Kevin Ferguson, rose to prominence as one of the early viral stars of YouTube, with his backyard brawls racking up an astronomical amount of hits.
After a four-fight stint in Elite XC, he broke into the big leagues by being a contestant on The Ultimate Fighter. Although he didn't enjoy much success in his subsequent run inside the Octagon, Kimbo is credited with being one of the few superstars of the sport who contributed to it's explosion into the mainstream in the mid-to-late noughties.
